Autumn Sights and Sounds

autumnFall is my favorite time to be in Yellowstone’s back country. The summer crowds are gone, the cottonwood trees have turned a brilliant gold, crisp, clear evenings are perfect for stargazing, and all around you are the sounds of bugling elk. We will enjoy the autumn solitude as we listen for the elk, the sandhill cranes and the wolves. Come join us in September!

black bearSeptember 4-7: "Wilderness Medical Education at Broad Creek"

Limited to: 8 guests

This trip is designed for physicians, and other healthcare providers who have an interest in medical issues in wilderness settings. The education portion of this trip will be provided by a renowned wilderness physician. We expect the educational program provided on this trip to qualify for 11.5 hours of Category I Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Yellowstone provides an ideal setting for CME in wilderness medicine. In addition, Broad Creek in September has consistently provided us with some of the best wildlife viewing of the season. Elk, buffalo, grizzly bear and wolves abound as this part of the pristine Pelican Valley, becomes virtually uninhabited by humans. Broad Creek also has wonderful thermal areas and lakes teaming with waterfowl.
